Cone Beam Computed tomography (CBCT)
Cone Beam Computed Tomography, also known as CBCT, is a special type of x-ray used to produce 3D images of your teeth, soft tissues, nerve pathways and bone all in one scan. The CBCT scan provides detailed diagnostic information from high resolution images that help our periodontists create a more precise treatment plan.

Gently gliding over the surface of each tooth, the intraoral scanner offers patients a gag free impression experience. In about 5 minutes, the intraoral scanner can capture every detail of the surface of your teeth and process the 3D virtual model using special scanning software.
Intraoral Scans in Periodontics and Implant Therapy
Intraoral scans have become a vital tool when placing an implant or visualizing an existing implant. This advanced technology allows us to view the 3D model of your teeth and jaw from any angle and design the optimum treatment plan for your unique periodontic needs.
Our team can determine the precise position and orientation of the implant and verify it with the CBCT scan. The implant crown or restoration will be crafted and placed with complete confidence.
