This is a medical practice business model that must be replicated. My personal experience was above and beyond excellence. An all-around aura of mindfulness, professionalism, and compassion. A genuine synergistic energy that is difficult to describe as an experience would be best. From the moment I walked into the office, I felt seen, heard, understood. The front office staff greeted me with smiles. Waiting to be seen was less than a minute. The experience that ensued after I was beyond the waiting room was a five star experience. Dr. Ntounis (Dounis) and his team were A++! Rachelle from his surgical team was the rockstar that guided me through the surgical procedure that Dr. Ntounis performed. Her calm demeanor, big and vibrant smile, attentiveness, awareness of my needs and preferences, and constant reassurance and check-in communications were outstanding. I was especially impressed with the flexibility of the staff that was available to respond to the needs of Dr. Ntounis during and throughout his surgical procedures. The care coordinator, Hannah, was so professional and thorough. Sarah, the surgical operations director set the tone for my encounter and her attitude, attention to detail, eye contact and excellent communication skills made it an A+ experience. Synergy, Periodontics & Implants Gold Medal. Well before you arrive at the easily found, parking-plentiful, ground floor office, the office staff ensures you are comfortable. Setting up the appointment, reviewing the treatment, and answering questions sets your expectations high. They are welcoming, smiling around, making eye contact, and genuinely interested in answering questions. In all my dealings with appointments and paperwork, I did not encounter any multitasking – when someone was speaking to me, they had my full attention. Thank you. You may begin to wonder why you have dreaded going to the periodontist. The reception area is comfortable and welcoming. You’ll notice the absence of chatter in the background – many wear the “whisper net” earphones and mics. That is only one of the several technological advances used by Dr. Ntounis’ office. The treatment area is sparkling white, has minimal equipment and furniture, and is surprisingly calming. I had two failed teeth that required removal and preparation for implants. Dr. Ntounis and Dental Assistant Kelly informed me every step of the way, and they finished on time two hours later. As I leave, everyone ensures I’m comfortable and have everything. I’m also handed a take-out serving of a flavorful soup for my evening meal. What a nice gesture. If you need periodontal work or implants (and I hope you don’t), Dr. Ntounis and his team will make you welcome, provide expert treatment, and ease your return to health.

I cannot begin to express how impressed I was with the service and care you provided to me yesterday. Even though I do not suffer from a fear of the dentist and I wore painful braces for a few years as a pre-teen, a tooth extraction gives one pause when one realizes what is being done. You all were kind, efficient and the teamwork was evident. Your outgoing personalities were also pleasant and added to the working atmosphere in a very positive way. I was bowled over when I was sent home with beautiful flowers and chilled soup. The whole staff is very friendly and wonderful at putting their patients at ease. The reception you receive when you walk into the clinic is very warm and genuine. The waiting area is very modern and inviting and there is even a coffee bar and water bottles available. I was also pleasantly surprised at how affordable my procedure was, and since I do not have dental insurance, this was a great weight off my mind. I was informed in detail about the cost and what it covered and was even given a payment option. Dr. Thanos Dounis is wonderful! He explained everything he to me in such a way that I hardly had to ask questions about my procedures and he kept me informed throughout the process so I would know exactly what to expect at any given moment. He even called me later in the evening to see how I was doing! I had known of a failing root canal for a while and had finally decided to do something about it in the fall of 2018. I scheduled an implant surgery for January 2019 with Synergy. On Christmas Day of 2018 I had another root canal suddenly and drastically fail. I called Synergy and they agreed to pull both teeth at the same time, saving me money and a second visit. Dr. Thanos Dounis was nothing but an utmost professional with humble confidence and a very warm, caring disposition. In fact, the whole staff their is terrific, warm, friendly and highly professional. I am now in the process of getting my crowns installed with my family dentist and when he looked at my X-rays he said that the implants were “perfect.” If anyone has the misfortune of a failing root canal or an infected tooth please consider Synergy, they will not steer you wrong and you will be in excellent hands. When you are going in for periodontal work that you are not looking forward to, the staff and Doctors make you feel at ease. They do everything to make you comfortable before and make sure that you are doing well after the procedure. They even sent me home with a large container of soup to help me over the next couple of recovery days. They respond quickly to phone calls and texts.

I’ve always appreciated it so much when my doctors and their staff simply communicate what is going on, because although the item may be familiar to you as you work in the field every day, to the patient who is (hopefully) not in the chair that often, it is unfamiliar and new to us. It was so helpful and re-assuring just to be given even the smallest bit of information about the activity surrounding my procedure. Even instructions such as “turn to the right” or “you’re gonna step down” are so helpful to someone who isn’t familiar with your facility. Allowing me to choose my own music on the “big day”, and the soup you gave me to fix at home when I was leaving were pleasant surprises as well. Both were a first for me when visiting any medical facility. Every detail is important to your team. Amazing. I’ve told several people that getting my implant was “a piece of cake”, giving evidence not just to your service-oriented vision, but also to how well you all understand the work of your hands and are experts in your field. My name is David this place is one of a kind! I went In today a couple minutes late, made coffee with there keurig for clients. Jenny walked up to take me back I apologized and she said no please make your coffee! They play whatever music you like during your procedure. Dr. Thanos Dounis makes sure there is 0 pain, place is like you’re at home!!
